Last week I went to Brighton to spend the day at the beach with Lauren. I've always loved Brighton and have been visiting since I was little, I’ve always said that if I could live anywhere it would be London or Brighton (amongst a lot of places let’s be real here.)

We started the day with food, obviously. We went to Zizzi’s in the lanes and MY GOD IT WAS BRILLIANT. Honestly, give me pasta and some cheese and I’m yours. After we decided to head down to the beach and thankfully the weather was good for us and was pretty much the only hot day we had whilst I spent my week of work…typical.

After an hour so of relaxing, talking about life and all sorts of things we headed down to the pier with ice creams in hand. After a mooch and a mosey we decided to go on the Waltzers after cocktails and ice cream…. Thankfully there were no repercussions.

It was the most relaxing day in the midst of being a little stressed and I honestly cannot recommend nipping away to the beach for a day or two to unwind and Brighton for me is one of my happy places. I hope to maybe spend a little more than an afternoon soon.

Where are your happy places? I filmed a little bit whilst I was there and it will be on my channel at the end of the month! (Also, I'm sorry for the lack of posts recently...I've been a bit of a crap blogger but I'm getting back into it)

  9. I love Brighton but I think my happy place would have to be Bognor Regis - so many childhood memories and still love it.
