oh The 1975, I do love you.

On Tuesday night I set off for Hammersmith to see some of my favourite human beings ever and The 1975. The 1975 are one of my favourite bands and by the sounds of the new songs, will continue to be for a long while.

After refusing to pay 50p to wee (C'mon London SERIOUSLY. I thought 30p was taking the piss. Literally) and spotting many a Matty look a like, we headed into that oh so familiar venue to myself and many a friend. One overly priced cider in hand, I was ready and had that great sense of excitement.

After what can only be described as what a helicopter preparing to land sounds like rang through the venue for about 6 minutes the screens lit up in a flurry of pink and the familiar sound of Love Me kicked in. Safe to say, dancing ensued. Complete with a couple who really needed to find their chill throughout. With an impressive production, faultless setlist and hearing a handful of new tracks I for one cannot wait to see what happens next with this band.

There is no better feeling that seeing your favourite band live with your friends, singing ridiculously out of tune and dancing like an uncle at a wedding, I can tell you that much.
