Another day, another accidental makeup splurge. I was nosing about in Superdrug when I came across these gems in the best and worst thing to happen to a beauty gal, a 3 for 2 offer. I'm always looking to try new brands out and these bits took my fancy.

EYES

The first things that caught my eye were the Gosh Forever Metallic Eye Shadow sticks in 02 Beige and 03 Light Copper. Both shades have a gold tone however shade 02 is much more of a silver toned gold as opposed to 03.

I found these really soft to use which makes them extremely bendable and build-able to achieve the level of pigmentation you want. However I do feel as if the lighter of the two is a lot more crumbly and flaky, perhaps due to the level of shimmer. You do have to be gentle with these as they aren't the strongest shadow sticks around and I've managed to break a chunk off of one! (They are cheap) I do think the colour payoff is beautiful and they look very pretty on the eye although as they're waterproof a bit hard to remove!

LIPS

I won't lie, lip crayons scare me a little. I don't know why but I've always stuck to the traditional lipstick from the bullet as opposed to other various lip products. I bought the shades Raspberry Dream and Flirty Orange, again these are waterproof so require some scrubbing!

I REALLY like these but as they're matte they aren't all too friendly to dry lips so exfoliation before applying is advisable! Raspberry Dream is a perfect match for a few of my darker lipsticks such as Diva by MAC and I'll probably get more use out of it come autumn, nonetheless I think it's a wonderful dark plummy/purple shade. Flirty Orange is my favourite out of the two and I cannot wait to get more use out of this! I used to stay away from vibrant lips but as I wear mostly monochrome it's a way to add a little something.

let me know what you think of the newbies in my stash this time around! x
