I've been looking for a new makeup brand for a while as I've just become a bit bored with the mainstream. I saw Zoe off of Zoe London post about a ruddy amazing blusher and of course used that to enable myself to take a trip to my local Wilko.

First up is their eyeshadow in 'Hazel Me Not!' which is a perfect matte soft brown. I initially went for this as a possible eyebrow powder as I wanted to mix things up on the brow front and felt it matches quite well, especially for us blonde ladies!

Now this is the main item I was after. Heat Wave is a 'multi colour powder blush for a fresh look all day long'. The bonus about this is you can use the shades individually or together to create a beautiful shade on the skin. I will say that you need a light hand with application because HOLY PAY OFF. As Zoe mentioned this is a good dupe for MAC's Ripe Peach as it's under £5, if you're on a budget like myself this is a dream.

I've always been a Rimmel translucent powder kinda girl however I don't know if its been changed or I'm just doing something wrong but it seems to just fall of my face and move my makeup even though I apply it exactly like I always have done, weird? I thought as its on the cheap side a little test of a newbie couldn't be a bad idea. Now I love this. The finish is perfect, smoothing and lasts for a good while.

Lastly is the 'Wish Me A Rose' lip liner. Now I'm not a Kylie Jenner lip lover on myself, I love it on others but I just look like I've been whacked round the face with a frying pan. So I use this more as a guide and to make my lipstick last a bit longer. It's a perfect match for my everyday lip which is MAC's Please Me which features in nearly all my favourites posts and videos!

That's all I picked up for now but as I said earlier, if you're on a budget Essence is worth a shot.
