OH, I'M ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT BEAUTY BECAUSE I CAN DO THAT.

Anyway, I have been on a hunt for a new foundation for a while. I've been using Revlons Colour Stay for a good few months and ran out so instead of the regular repurchase I saw Lily off of Lily Melrose do a tutorial with this and well it had to be mine.

I think what drew me in instantly was the fact it was a full coverage foundation on the highstreet and it really doesn't break the bank selling at around £7.99. I went for the lightest shade and even though the colour is a good match, I'm still that bit too pale for it... #paleprobs. Nothing that a bit of blending can't fix. However, I have used the normal Liquid Infallible before and that shade seemed to be fine.

Loreal describe the foundation as "lightweight, non-cakey, 24hr perfection" I do have to agree with the fact it is a medium texture. I've tried the Mac Studio Sculpt before and absolutely hated how it felt on the skin and this is miles lighter when you compare the two. I do feel that if you the more you build with this it does get a little cakey but one less layer would sort that!

My skin likes to change it's mind on whether it wants to be dry, fine or oily... why does saying oily make me shudder? Like saying moist. I've digressed... This definitely 10000000% is not good for dry skin days so I'd opt for the other infallible however the coverage isn't to the same level.

This is one I'm defintley going to be sticking with for a while. Any other foundations you've found that are worth a shot? Let me know in the comments or tweet me @trudyboulert!

side note: My eyebrows are not that dark, that's fancy colouring for you... and you could of made your bed Trudy you lazy so and so.

  3. I just watched Lily's video with this in and instantly thought I need this too! I really like lightweight foundations, I just hate the feeling of it on my skin so it definitely sounds good for me.
